ReplyDeleteMy Mother in law, Patricia is currently in remission from Breast Cancer and My Aunt Rose passed away from it about 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI also lost a co-worker to Breast Cancer this year and have another co-worker currently under going chemo.

ReplyDeleteMy grandmother unfortunately was not a survivor, but this was almost 40 years ago and detection and treatment has changed so much since that time.

ReplyDeleteMy mom is a 5 year Breast Cancer Survivor WOOHOO! Also - my aunt was diagnosed in the spring and chose to have a double mastectomy along with the recommended radiation and chemo. She just finished her treatments and is doing great!

My grandmother, aunts, my mom is a three time breast cancer survivor, they took lumps out two different times and 3rd time they performed a dbl mascectomy, she has been cancer free since 2005. This being said, be sure to book your mammograms ladies.
